I am also in my early 60's 62 in November.
I could ask the same question. But I either don't have the courage, or the ambition.
It does sound cool though.
And as far as I can tell we only live once, at least in this dimension here on earth.

Do you own a house outright?
What is your monthly cost of living?
A Rv could cost as much or more than a house and property.
And to drive a RV down the road could cost your whole social security check each month.
They probably get 4 or 5 miles per gallon. You might want to check out the MPG.
I had a Chevy van 10 in 1974 that was brand new and only got 6mpg.
That was a 6 cylander small van.
Before I retired I added up all my expenses for the year and month.
And compared them to my monthy income.
As long as your income is higher than your expenses, you should be good.
